I’ve always loved baking – although in the beginning it was burnt flour and exploding baked cheesecakes more than anything else. Luckily, I have awesome people in my life that would eat anything I cooked, say it tasted awesome and kept on encouraging me to practice. Over the years my baking skills have improved and I started getting creative with the cakes I made – cupcakes with a raspberry surprise, marble cakes (such as vanilla and raspberry) and cheesecakes (that didn’t explode). Lately I’ve expanded my baking portfolio to include tarts, cookies and pastries.
I also have a thing for presentation – I’m OBSESSED!! For me, presentation is a really important element of food. It is at the first sight of a dish that you decide whether you’re going to love it or hate it!
